1. The book is an action-packed, exciting read as well as fulfilling an educational purpose. In my opinion, I thought the book was good but requires work at some of the concepts which were introduced. The book always had something going on, very exciting and constantly had me wondering what was going to happen next. But sometimes through the action, particularly at the beginning, you would start at a new chapter and they would change the location and time, which although was stated at the top of the chapter was hard to grasp as I don't like reading the chapter openings. A character I particularly enjoyed the development of was Doctor Eckner.  I enjoyed the way he was introduced, when I thought a particularly serious scene was about to occur Doctor Eckner was introduced to give the chapter some lighten the mood. Doctor Eckner was constant throughout the book, his character never changed.

The book was based on the Second World War and followed the major events very well, the pictures (photos) which were placed throughout the book also helped to teach more visual learners. The book ended nicely and well-rounded off and am interested to find out what Vango will get up to next!

2. This book has a lot of different storylines going on at the same time but all of them are dealt with really well so it isn't really as confusing as it could have been.  It was a bit tricky at the start but as you got further through the book some of the storylines came together which was good and you could see what was happening clearly.  Vango has lots of action in it and so is really exciting.  It was really informative about WWII with lots of detail about important events and the excitement in the story made me want to find out more about these events.  Vango himself comes across as very determined as he travels around Europe meeting various friends and encountering many mysteries and adventures.  I would definitely recommend this book but not to younger readers as they may find it difficult to keep up with the amount of information and storylines that are happening throughout the book.

3. Vango is a thrilling murder mystery. It depicts a boy on the run from the French police. It is well written with a simple yet interesting plot however frequent changes in perspective and time can make it hard to follow. The blurb is good as it gives a basic idea of the book without giving too much away. The cover is eye catching and appealing. Overall Vango is a good book but can be hard to follow at times.

4. Wish I had read the first one before I read this. This was a great story and I got my friends to read it as well. The plot is easy to follow and the mystery is unravelled. I read it in a week 9/10

5. This is one of the best stories I have read. The main character is believable and the story is mysterious and you get to travel the world with him.

6. My thoughts on Vango were that the story was a bit too
complex and I didn't like that there were no pictures, as I like this as an aid to my imagination. I found it really hard to read. It was too complicated.

7. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Vango, it had everything I like; good descriptions, a good sense of adventure and comedy. The book is about aboy called Vango with no friends except a priest, the history is very interesting. I would recommend this book anyone who is interested in a good fantasy book or something with a good story.
