Our podcast provides insight into the environmental impact of the Cold War. We particularly focus on how the USA utilised Greenland during this period and what the resulting impact of their presence was. We chose to delve into Camp Century and Project Iceworm in relation to diplomacy and effects on the environment. This accounts for both negative and positive outcomes of their involvement. Additionally, we review the idea of how humans can influence natural disasters induced by the likes of warfare in this case. All of this is done with the use of some interesting primary sources, some important historiography, and some fun facts! 

We have also made links to the A level History specifications through discussions of superpowers, policies during a post World War Two environment and, of course, the Cold War. We feel this is a great podcast that we hope will engage students and teachers alike on issues that have happened previously and how this impacts us today.
