SKIN - free resource. SKIN is a new film due to be released this winter. It concerns the compelling and moving tale of Sandra Laing, born in 1955 to white Afrikaner parents in South Africa. Thanks to the chance combination of her parents' genes, Sandra was dark-skinned, had thick curly hair and black-African features. None of this would have mattered very much in a different time or place, but this was Apartheid South Africa...

Film Education has worked directly with the producers to create an online resource for teachers. For more information visit: skin

A Crude Awakening - free resource. This new documentary film examines the world of oil and global politics. In the word's of the filmmakers "it tells the story of how our civilization's addiction to oil puts it on a collision course with geology... the film visits with the world's top experts and comes to a startling, but logical conclusion - our industrial society, built on cheap and readily available oil, must be completely re-imagined and overhauled."
