When did the Normans complete their conquest?

Holly is a part-time teacher of History at d’Overbroeck’s school. In her current role she has full responsibility for Year 7 and 8 teaching and curriculum, and also teaches GCSE and A Level classes. Prior to this she was a Head of Department (History and Politics) for six years at Kingham Hill School.
Holly really values engagement with the wider history teaching community, and has previously shared ideas and resources related to her teaching practice through at the HA Virtual Conference in 2020. She has also contributed a key stage 3 resource to a collection using Dr Miranda Kaufmann’s Black Tudors, and in the summer of 2020, she took part in the perceptions of conquest mini Teacher Fellowship. Her resource focuses on the process of conquest following the Norman invasion, with a special emphasis on the diverse Welsh and Scottish experiences.
