I recently read the book "The three hares: the terracotta horse” and I was absolutely blown away. This book is a historical fiction novel that follows the story of three teenage characters called Salma, Sanjeev and Sara. They are transported to the past however gain the power of 1000 years and each gain ‘a hand of fate’ off the Immortals that they must use to battle Chan-the leader of a crime syndicate who is attempting to gain immortality The writing in this book is absolutely superb. Scot and David have a way of making the characters come alive and the story is full of action and comedy too at times. The historical detail is also incredibly well researched, and it really helps imaging what it was like at that time in history The three hares is an incredibly enjoyable read and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys historical fiction. It is a great story that will keep you hooked until the very end.
