This is a quick guide for busy history teachers who are looking for ways to develop their teaching of the First World War, based on learning from the Teacher Fellowship. Using this resource will enable teachers to be able to make quick tweaks to their teaching which will add depth and nuance through recent academic research to a subject that can easily be taught using generalisations and stereotypes.
