This series of lessons investigates the impact of the Norman Conquest. It does this by getting students to question Simon Schama’s interpretation that the Normans brought a ‘truck-load of trouble’ to England. The sequence is five lessons long, with the first four lessons delivering the content and the fifth wrapping up the enquiry.
