The Misunderstandings of Charity Brown

Review by Thomas
I really enjoyed the book (The misunderstandings of Charity Brown) it was a really interesting book, and I learnt a lot throughout reading it. My favourite character is Charity because she is really interesting and has a lot of unfortunate yet incredible things that she has overcome in her life during the book. I learnt quite a lot about World War 2 and about how bad the holocaust was and what jews went through. I also learnt a lot about the opera because I knew nothing about it. I really like how the book makes nature and the outside really special and interesting. I really like Mr Fischer because I thought he was really interesting, and I thought that the fact he was healed by his surroundings during his time at Gospel Fields. I really liked that at the start of the book it was about Charity writing during the time when she was recovering from polio. I thought that the plot was really heart-warming and exciting because almost every single character had a really interesting or unfortunate background and childhood (especially the Stern family). Although, there were still some key bits of action during this book which really added to the book in a very good way. The fact that the book is so heart-warming and interesting really stands out in this book and makes it the amazing book it is. I would definitely recommend this book to anybody who is interested in that genre, and I would recommend it to anybody because I really enjoyed it. There is nothing to criticise about this book it is a really good book, and I enjoyed every word of it and have read the book twice and enjoyed it the same each time.
