Young Historian Awards
Each year the Historical Association in collaboration with the Spirit of Normandy Trust offers a series of awards to Primary school children for outstanding history scholarship. Primary school children are asked to research and write about history within the subject categories of local history, the ancient world and British involvement in the Second World War. The categories have been created to support learning and writing in the classroom so that all young people can have an opportunity to enter, rather than it being only a homework option. Read more
