The Plymouth Historical Association branch and Plymouth Rotary combined to promote a project in primary schools in 2005. The aim of the project was to promote awareness among primary school children in Plymouth, of the history of their community, and of British history more widely. The schools taking part submitted group displays of materials, writing and pictures, and also ICT presentations: many of them cross-curricular but with a history focus.
