Medieval and Early Modern gallery (A-level)
This resource was written by Gavin Sheffield, Curriculum Manager, Medieval and Early Modern History at The Sixth Form College Farnborough. It is aimed at students studying these periods at A-level.
The aim of this resource is to immerse students in medieval or early modern thinking by engaging them with the visual culture of these periods. It is hoped that engaging with this culture can give students a visual bank of ideas to enrich their essay-writing and perception of the period. The resource includes a guide to using medieval and early modern imagery.
