Description: View original drawings by Bristol artist Samuel Loxton (1857-1922). Our May Special Collections Sunday event highlights the wonderful pen and ink drawings of Samuel Loxton. Drawn between c.1888-1920, these sketches give us a snapshot of the city at the turn of the twentieth century. This display will have a particular emphasis on local gardens, parks & open spaces as part of our main exhibition Unearthed: The power of gardening (2 May-28 August). Join us in the Bristol Room, Central Library, on Sunday 25 May, anytime between 2-4pm and discover the old streets of Bristol.
